Oi! Stop trying to access my computer!

My Firewall has been repelling pretty much constant attempts to access my machine ALL DAY. Here's just one of them:

Date and time: 21/5/04 11:56:20 am
Action: Access attempt DENIED
Service: unknown
Port: 2745
Mode: TCP
IP address: 213.107.176.xxx
Host name: cpc6-hem12-4-0-custxxx.lutn.cable.ntl.com

They must be local to me, the network address is very similar.

What am I meant to do about jokers like this?

Erm not much you can do apart from trying to inform the owner of that computer somehow, they're infected by a trojan (beagle I think uses that port) which sounds like it's trying to connect to your machine, they're probably totally unaware of it. I gues you've done a full virus scan?

Try reporting it to NTL here:

..but in my experience nothing much happens :erm:

I won't bother doing a scan unless this trojan is capable of infecting Mac OS ;) But thanks for the tip :tu:

EDIT: well, I put in a report anyway, so let's see if anything comes of it. Thanks for the link, Altis :)
