Javascript 'pop up' command not working in IE6
Whenever I come across a webpage which uses javascript code for the links, in the following manner "javascript:popUp('http://pageurl/index.html')", the link never opens.
I have disabled a popup blocker to no avail. There's obviously a setting I'm missing somewhere, any ideas. PS am also running NIS2004 and NAV |

Doesn't Norton block popups too?

Re: Javascript 'pop up' command not working in IE6
Possibly, can't work out where though, or how to change it. Just to clarify, these are links which are clicked on, not just your traditional 'pop up'
EDIT - After messing around with who knows what I seem to have fixed it. |

In Norton popup stopper is in Ad-blocker settings. Adblocker may also stop some stuff from loading.
Also privacy controll can prevent some stuff from loading, mostly noticed on adult sites and warez based sites. |
Re: Javascript 'pop up' command not working in IE6
does it stop it popping up at all or does it just pop up a blank window?
