3D Desktop Software

I remember a thread about a java based environment that looked very similar.. but now I give you the winblows version : http://www.hamar.sk/sphere/ (watch the videos. very impressive)

I've not tested it myself, so I'd love to hear in here from anyone that does.

Looks very useful to me as a developer, I need all the screen space I can get!
I'll test it later. :)

Be aware that you need the .NET framework (from Win Update>Windows XP) and a decent 3D graphics card.

What card DO you have?

What graphics card do you have Paul?
I'd say anything which you can play Quake III on would do the job.

Re: 3D Desktop Software

IIRC, you can't use OpenGL on those - only DirectX 6 and Glide or something.
I could be wrong though.
