AVER (DVBt) PCI Card

I have a NEW AVER DVBt card on one of my business PC's. The aim was to Record a bit of TV, then Edit the Adverts out & save to my Portable Archos AV380 or a LapTop.

The card was £70 at Maplin's & we got a new Digital Ariel for best signal...

TV Tunes into TV great...
Records easy...

But when we EDIT the MPEG it is Un-Usable.
All my Video Editors say FILE MISMATCH ....

Aver said I needed to Demux the DVBT MPEG. But the Program they sent did Nothing...

So does ANYONE here use a Aver DVBT?

Please Help...:pp

JediMaster: You need TMPGEnc. Its free and very good. What they mean is you you have to take the movie, split it into separate audio and video (Demux or demultiplexing), then re-combine it again (multiplexing).

Demultiplexing: http://vcdrookie.com/eng/index.php?o...id=6&Itemid=55

You can also do a multiplex, by going to File -> MPEGTools as well.

Re: AVER (DVBt) PCI Card

TMPEG says File Error..

Dr-DixV & a older copy of V-Dub MPEG2 works ok....

But the Quality of Video is Great @ times & then it goes BLOCKY... Is that Normal? It looks like a Video Phone 4 a second.. Then DVD quality again

That is with Div X 1 Pass @ 2000 Bitrate & as NORMAL Avi (Uncompressed)
