old forum pages

Hi guys.

don't post much (if at all) but been around for the last few years on your boards.

Got a question for you, I'm a moderator on another board, music based, which closed down, started on another host, got all heated and split into two and now the twain will never meet!

What's happening is some people are on both boards, no problem there. However, one of them has started posting threads from the first original board that was shut down nearly a year ago.

Here's the question, how is it possible??

I know there are web archives out there of old pages that include records of long dead websites, I've visited one, but don't have the address bookmarked, or is there away to bypass the front door, so to speak, which I guess is the first thing to be removed. If so, how could this be done.

the forum host address is:
http://212.53.78.13/cgi/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi

thanks alot in advance

cheers for that, the "index" pages are there but not messages - there must be a way to take it one step further

looks like 'they' have access to the database containing the messages - you have to speak with them :erm:
