aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgggggggg

Unfortunately a sort of moan.

I rang tech support the other day and spoke to Steve, very pleasant and helpful, in the end I thought I would reformat, it looks like my problem was in some way related to my operating system disk, I had to go out and buy a new disk.

The moan comes now,

Do the millionaire management read this site, if so they may like to note that when people ring tech support they are in a highly agitated state, wanting to get the problem sorted that they are ringing about, now we are faced while waiting by two [for want of a better word] ADS, telling us about the new ntl medic and the new status page, if as has happened in the past you have to wait an hour that's thirty times you are getting to hear these messages, when like me you couldn't connect to the web it gets your blood boiling, do we have to listen to this type of message over and over again, even the crackly music is better than this.

To re-enforce what I said earlier full marks to the tech support for their helpfulness and help.

now to go and d/l medic. it seems to work lol. lol.

jeff.

You think NTL is annoying? I acquired an unwanted subscription to Time Magazine (I say acquired as I certainly didn't order it). There was a phone number on the time-warner website to cancel your subscription. I phoned it. I waited an hour on the queue listening to ads for various time warner products, then got a polite message stating that because it was now 17:00, the phone line would now close, and I was cut off. I phoned back the next day, had to wait another 45 minutes before I eventually got through to a human who cancelled my subscription.
