So no one got any installation issues?

As the title says.

The last "never" has now been banished from the main page.

I'll post a question, just because you asked so nicely :D

How much should installation be for just a STB? My better half was quoted £25 when he placed the order, but we got the confirmation letter through and it says £50 for an TV&Phone install

The reason I ask is 1) I'm cheap lmao :)
and 2) I'm only having 1 service installed, I already have a connected ntl phone line!

Cheers,

Carly :)

I had installation problems i.e. it took nearly six weeks from first promised installation date to actual installation. However now all's well even the e-mail is behaving today.

No probs on that front yet but I'm moving house next week. so watch this space.
A sample of previous problems just to whet your appetite.
Cable modem installed but not wanted
Installer put foot through floor / ceiling of room below my flat
Installers not installing it properly (signal strength too weak)
(previous 3 in the same install)
Cutting off cable in the whole street by accident.

Something may go right this time but my hope aren't too high, so when/if something goes wrong I won't be too disappointed.

I had no issue's concerning installation and I was quite satisfied with the work undertaken. Even the re-pull from 6 to 11 cable went ok, my power level went from -9 to -2 :)
