Ballooning

Has anyone ever been up in a hotair balloon? I'm going up some time in May or June with a friend. We're really looking forward to it. Pricey though. About 100 pounds per person and the flight lasts 1.5 hours.

My wife has - she loved it :)

- one thing - they were very safety conscious & warned her that if the wind wasn't right, they wouldn't go up, so don't travel too far - & enjoy :)

Yes, My wife and I did it in 1990, we went right over our house and I got some great arial shots of it and the surrounding area's.

It is a fantastic experience and we intend to do it again when the kids are just a year or two older.

I did a flight in Egypt, at dawn over the Nile and the Valley of the Kings.
It was awesome !!!!

Re: Ballooning

there was a discussion on here a while back about it

I think you sometimes have to postpone the flight
due to weather and stuff

my brother went a few times before he actually got to fly in one

good though apparently - a lot of it goes on over by Bristol/Bath way

Not surprising, Bristol being the home of Cameron Balloons!
