FTP Upload Problems
Hi folks,
I hope you can help me out! :dozey: It has been AGES since I updated my webpage....I have done all the necessary and got the page as I want to see it. But...when I click on my shortcut to "ftp://upload.ntlworld.com" I get the following message... FTP FOLDER ERROR Windows can not access this folder. Make sure you have typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. DETAILS : The FTP session was terminated Please help !!!!! Thx. CR. :dunce: |

When you get this just click OK
then right click on the page and choose 'log in' then enter you username and password, click OK and you should be in. |

.......it help's if I remember to copy the files from the folder I have on my desktop into the upload page too eh ??? :rolleyes: Told you it had been a long time since my last upload! Thanks again! CR. |

alternatively... if you use ftp://username@upload.ntlworld.com/ in the address bar, it will automatically prompt you for the password ;)
or... ftp://username:password@upload.ntlworld.com/ will not as you at all :D |

How Bizzarre............ I have just had to relate to this in order to do another upload !..... Think I need more practice???

If you are on XP you might find that the ftp upload is in your network places.
I know it is on my machine. |

Yes I do now have XP. As for 'network places'.........better not go there - knowing me, I will only buggar something up !!! (mmmmmm might have a little look around though!):D |
