eastenders of oz

on our local radio station this morning they were comparing eastenders to the wizard of oz.......
wicked witch = pauline
good witch = sharon
dorothy = sharons sister (little girl lost)
wizard = dirty den (sorts everything out)
lion = taxi driver bloke (have a go hero)
scarecrow = alfie (thick)
tinman = loan shark bloke (heartless)
i believe you could use this theory for any soap.......
anyone add to these or come up with some better ones?

Stargate was always compared to the wizard of oz as well. I think its because the characters in OZ are massive exagerations of real life personalities you would come across in everyday life :)
