We took out Digi TV in Nov 2000, it was added to our pack either then or shortly after (a month or so??). HTH :)

It involves using a built in browser in the STB to view the www on your TV set. For what it is it isn't bad but there are major limitations to it, many may have been fixed in the latest d/l of software to the Langley platform. Well thats what they promised but whether it's fixed the issues that bugged me I don't know

HTH :)

All STB surfing will be limited whatever platform until someone actually develops decent browsing software for STBs that can cope with the stuff that is actually on the web.

Alas, the STBs prolly aren't powerful enough to handle Java, Flash and the like all in one page :p

It wasn't the fact that they couldn't handle flash etc. I wasn't expecting them to, however i was expecting to be able to view the majority of sites without it constantly saying it couldn't show the page because it didn't have enough memory. ;)

LOL, was it really that bad? I've never used it. Never want to!

The world wide web is for computers, not TV's or mobile phones!

Yep, and even when they switched my boxes for 4010's (which have more RAM) it still did the same thing, so much for their "fix"

Like I said I guess it's good for people that don't have a PC, but I wouldn't go back to it.
