explanation -my 2 year old granddaughter was in the fridge yesterday looking for carrot sticks and noticed the light wasn't working so decided to fiddle with the thermostat and set it on 8:)

I've had a similar, I've taken some chicken Wings from the Freezer and put it in the fridge.

The following morning It was still solid, and as I needed it for tea I put the bag in tepid water to defrost, luckily it was OK by tea time.

My meat section of fridge is colder than the rest so meat doesn't thaw very well in there.

Woohoo.

Our landlord gave us notice that he wanted to sell last March, just as covid hit and with my health it was becoming harder to afford the high rent with, with wife working less and me claiming benefits.

Over the moon.

Great news, Something to look forward too,

My parents had their jabs last week.

They're also getting paid £25 each a week for the next 7 weeks for a covid test.

My son bought his first property(?) today - a 62 foot narrowboat in Marlborough.

Very pleased for him.

No, it’s in good nick, and the survey (which involved winching it out of the water) was very positive.

There’s a few things they want to change, but nothing urgent.

Refreshing to see that there are still people posting Happy news on CF. So much negativity on line these days.
