I've got two of these set up in AI Mesh mode and they're brilliant. Depending on the position of your hub/size of your property, you may get away with just one. Currently £143 on Amazon... ASUS RT-AC86U Wi-Fi AC2900

Depends on whether you want your router to do wireless or not.

I have a Linksys LRT224 becasue I have dual BB (VM & Vodafone) & a separate wireless access point.

I've dual circuits from BT and VM (for work redundancy) so using a Vigor 2860 at the moment. Nice piece of kit and rarely needs a reboot. It can also use 4G at the same time for even more redundancy.
Before this I was a fan of ASUS routers, so can recomment those as well.

I can recomend Asus. I have been using for a while a RT-AC68U. I also use one of the usb ports in the back of it, for a 1TB western digital drive, and using the ASUS DNS service, gives me online storage for streaming etc when I am out and about.

Ditto the above, Asus routers are fantastic and you can get the AC68u for £127 on Amazon atm.

Another vote for Asus. I'd get one with AiMesh functionality so if you want to upgrade down the line, you can still use it.

Yeah, the one i linked to above has it. The damn shame is that earlier in the year you could buy them in a twin pack and i am sure they were £150.

The AC86U was briefly on for £135 a month or two ago but I dithered. I'm not in a massive rush to upgrade my oldish but still good Linksys router so it's now just a waiting game.

In case you are not aware of this. I set my Superhub into modem mode and then spent ages trying to find out why the Superhub as overheating with the main light showing Red. It is in fact, a more pinkish colour which indicates that the Suberhub is in modem mode.

What made you think that the colour of the light meant it was overheating? :D

The literature that came with the Hub shows three states for the main light. White is OK, Green is setting up and Red is overheating. No where did it mention the pinkish colour for modem mode. Therefore I assumed it started to overheat.

Thank for the heads up about the overheating led colour as i didn't know that, i knew it changed to Magenta in modem mode but can't find a reference to it in any manual.
