Kaspersky Problems

Has anyone here got Kaspersky and if so anyone having problems updating it?

Mine hasn't updated since yesterday and its just saying cannot connect to proxy server. Now i've had issues in the past with updates and always ended up being DNS related for some odd reason so ive changed my DNS to google, flushed dns cache and restarted and its still the same.

Has Russia pulled the plug on our anti viruses for blaming them over the nerve agent? lol

Re: Kaspersky Problems

You can usually do a manual update from a directory. Download an update file from a reputable source.

I have to do this with AVG Free as the auto-updates now fail under XP with an "unable to connect to update server" error.

Softpedia seems to have the most recent updates for most suites for free.

Try Here

Who mentioned your license? There's plenty of other links on that page to try to resolve the problem. All you have to do is read it.

Are you sure you are using a proxy server?

It could be that it’s looking for a proxy server then, you need to set it so it doesn't

Either that or get an AV solution that works. Never had a problem with Eset from first using it and yes, before anyone asks I do pay for it.
Currently using Eset Internet Security.

Im also having another issue with Kaspersky.

Its blocking the new beta firefox extension for Private Internet Access by finding false positives and deleting them as malware.

Why use anything but the best? Kaspersky is consistently number one in reviews year on year
