no arguments here :)

My happy thought is being able to buy myself a new camera - just because I could - although, so far I haven't tested the 'wink detector', it is mainly doing what it said on the tin :)

Getting better with Exchange 2010 edge though which gives you secure activesync for iphones.

...woah is people being able to mail or call you when you're out and about a happy thought?

Anniversary today. SWMBO and I went out for lunch today since I'm now off work until Tuesday. :)

Even better we're off to Seamill Hydro tomorrow night without the kids. :D

No doubt most of our conversation will be about the girls though.

I've just had a very pleasant couple of days with my musicians from Afghanistan. Despite all being moslems nobody blew up my house or even mentioned the war..

Last night I had a delightful hour listening to them all 'busking' in one of the bedrooms. Really enjoyed the music.

Oh yes, fried eggs, hash browns, mushrooms and tomato seemed to go down a treat. Thanks to those that offered suggestions.

My sister has found out who are true friends are.

Last Tuesday she had surgury on her right knee (the left will be done next year) she has been told don not do stairs and keep off the feet as much as possible.

So she has been sleeping on the sofa, and thanks god that she has a downstairs loo.

Now with 2 kids to get to school her hubby has had to go into work later to drop them at school, her next door neighbour hasn't even offered, despite the fact that she has phoned my sister at the last minute to take her kids too school.

She had a friend who is coming out of his way to take them to school so that her hubby can go to work and come home and cook the evening meal.

Other friend have offered to take them to the after school activitites they do.

The trouble is me and my sister have been brought up far to well, and will help.

But my sister isn't, what annoys my sister is that often the neighbour has phoned when she is in the bath, and her daughter answers, and its hard to say no.

But she will avoid were possible helping next door.

I know what you mean but you need to try and avoid where possible and I would not be surprised if she still has the cheek to ask while she is on crutches and that will give you a reason to say no.

There is a true saying " When your to good your no good". Your sister should make all the excuses under the sun when your neighbour ask for help with the kids. She will soon get the hint. Hope she is feeling better soon. ;)

Unless i've read wrong she is 7 weeks pregnant so that means he had the snip 1 week after and not 1 week before. ;)

So either way she is in the clear and not going to have to move. :)

It just a shame though that she can't see, or doesn't care, that her help would be appreciated by Mom3r's sister. Neighbourliness has to work both ways.

As you know I temping at a local company less than a mile from home, well today was a nightmare.

I was asked, and agreed to go into the IT suite and change some DAT backup tapes. well today I was going through the menu to eject 2 in a server (large square ones (about 4")) when it had moved them I opened the draw only to discover that the tapes where ther but the tape had a trail into the machine.

"Holy crap" I thought and being a temp I was crapping bangers.

I phoned a IT contact number, and told him my problem, judgeing by his answer this wasn't the first time and seemed OK.

He called me back later to tell me it was sorted and the offending dat was history.

Tax return submitted to the accountant - hopefully there will be a tax rebate - a large one - since I have had to pay my tax on account - and since this tax year I took a perm job, the amount of dividends I have paid myself has been minimal.
I'm sure they'll find a way to screw me over.

Holiday booked as well - off to cyprus for 10 days in October.

We're going to start making it up Maggy. :D

There's an idea for the CF Christmas competition. What's behind MJ's happiness?

My kindle just turned up and it (the font) does go big enough for me to actually to be able to READ a book....

I mean actually READ it.

I have not been able to read a book for more than four years

Ok so I only get like 10 words on a page at once but I don't care.

I am do flipping excited right now I tell you.

Now that is really good news as now you once again can have the pleasure of reading a book, who gives stuff about how many words are on a page as long as you can read them.https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2012/11/13.gif

Well last night F1 2010 arrived.

Played with all the aids on, and played a quick game as Button on the first corner knoecy Webber off, and was leading, on the last lap Lewis got passed and I finished 2nd.

Today I bought a wired steering wheel, well its taking getting used too.

The mode I'm driving in must have damage turned of as I've been playing bumper cars and my cars still ok.

Good little game if you are in to F1.
