Creating a Media Playlist
 

Ok I give up, how the hell do I create a mp3 playlist in media player 12 (Win 8.1)

Its says drag files to the panel on the left but when I do this I get a red circle and it won't accept the MP3.

Is there software I can download to do this?

I gave up and downloaded "Playlist Creator 3.6.2"

Its just drag N drop, I saved the file to a folder on my 126GB stick and my car found them under its Playlist option.

It even supports FLAC playlist.

use vlc or winamp and create .m3u file?

maybe it depends how the directory structure is written, the playlist will just be a text file, but maybe if the slashes are the "wrong" way it gets confused and can't find them?

or, if say you moved your files, and they were in

c:\music\artist\album\

the file may have that full path so it won't work if you move them to

d:\music\artist\album\

but if you have the playlist in

music

and the playlist file contents is

artist\album\1.mp3
artist\album\2.flac

etc

it should work.
