Can anyone recomend a good battery operated screwdiver please - a powerful one
 
I have one but its just not powerful enough to put large screws into things it struggles , im after a powerful one that will do any screw into a wall or wood , thankyou ..

You really want a drill / driver as these have plenty of grunt and a cordless drill comes in handy. I have a Bosch one with a 9.2v battery and it can actually shatter the bits on full attack but you can set the torque limiter so as to avoid that. Higher battery voltages mean more power.

I'm a big fan of Bosch power tools as they punch above their weight.

I have a Bosch screwdriver and a Bosch drill so two votes for Bosch.

I have a Lidl 24v drill-driver that has exceeded expectations and lasted 6 years with no problems. It came with a 3 year warranty. Very powerful.

I have a budget drill/driver from argos £20 does all the tough jobs and the fiddly jobs i have a set of good quality driver bits and some broken screw remover bits .
