Re: can anyone recomend a good battery operated screwdiver please - a powerful one
You really want a drill / driver as these have plenty of grunt and a cordless drill comes in handy. I have a Bosch one with a 9.2v battery and it can actually shatter the bits on full attack but you can set the torque limiter so as to avoid that. Higher battery voltages mean more power.
I'm a big fan of Bosch power tools as they punch above their weight. |

I have a Lidl 24v drill-driver that has exceeded expectations and lasted 6 years with no problems. It came with a 3 year warranty. Very powerful.
