Wisdom comes with age maybe but it is a double-edged sword as change and new ideas can come with youth but this isn't relevant when it comes to debating if they should have an age limit. It's only for health reasons we would have it. Biden is almost 80 for example.

That's the problem with generalisation. I know many people aged 78 or above who, being of agile mind, would make excellent government leaders.

We just use a simple test -can you stop your bicycle without falling off.

What if you can't get on a bicycle in the first place and have to use a golf cart instead?

I have a bicycle and struggle to get my leg over the cross bar I'm 66 this week so i would not be suitable to run anything other than a bath, you can't lug your golf clubs around on a bicycle they aren't allowed on the greens;).

Society does and should. Ageing process constitutes people cannot work forever, there has to be a cut off age, Biden’s constant mumblings of nonsensical shit, falling down Air Force One stairs, falling off his bike, getting lost on stage, highlights this.

It’s a good job Russia sees his fragile mind, twice now, we could have been led in to a nuclear conflict with Biden’s words, first when he suggested America would drop chemical weapons on Russia, if they dropped any on Ukraine, then later also suggesting American armed forces would be soon joining fight in Ukraine. :erm:

Jfman makes valid point above, we have prohibitions for people under a certain age, why should there not be the same for people above a certain age?

BREAKING: U.S President Joe Biden, has just declared more money is required to plan for the second pandemic, saying adamantly, "there is going to be another pandemic". https://twitter.com/JamesfWells/stat...02113139019776

Does he know something we don't? :erm:

Most Research groups think it’s "when", not "if"

The U.K. had one for a potential Flu Pandemic.

And we updated our Pandemic planning in October 2020, in case another one occurs.

Well, there is going to be another pandemic. Maybe it'll be another 100 years or so if we're lucky.
