I fully expect it to die though after one season. It has all the hallmarks of being another FlashForward or The Event... Plus it's on NBC, which doesn't help. |

It's only a few days ago that episodes were added by the network to give it a full season, so presumably the network has hopes for it. |
Re: Renewals & Cancellations : Updated to 2012
They also had hopes for The Event, that also started out as a 13 episode order and received an order for more episodes. It's on NBC so they standards ain't as high as other networks when it comes to ratings.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations : Updated to 2012
The networks also had hope for The Event and FlashForward, both of which started with huge ratings, received a "back nine" to give them a full season, and then massively haemorrhaged viewers until finally being cancelled after a single season.

Also, its share of the all-important 18-49 demographic is also decreasing each week. Given the ratings & given the network (and given that it's also like The Event and FlashForward in that it's trying to be another Lost-type show with a slowly teased out mystery using flashbacks) I predict that it will drop and drop and drop and get canned after one season. This happens every year. |

They simply drag them out far too long - people get fed up of mysteries that take forever - and lose interest. Both FF and the Event got really good as they reached their final episodes, the trouble was that most viewers had got bored with them long before then, and given up on them. |

I've only watched the first episode so far but I did enjoy it. I might watch them all tomorrow or something, or wait till Monday so I can get the finale as well.
