Unless such places make hand cleaning products readily available the consequences will be dire.

Fortunately we don't eat that sort of crap.

Well my niece worked in a Bakers/Cafe, thay have hand gel for all to use.

Nowt wrong with fast food in moderation.

I co own the company I work for and the other directors have been very understanding about my worsening disability. I now only work part time and can also do some work from home, so the impact won't be as great as it would have been.

The CV was the final nail in FlyBe's coffin, as the Governemt was not allowed un EU law to help, had we left last March the government could have helped so IMHO the remainers blocking brext are to blame.

But that is for another thread.

Indeed go on certain well known online sites and there is plenty of profiteering going on and not much being done to curb it.

There is only one way to curb it. Don't buy it!

Actually the Competition Regulator/Watchdog has warned such shops and traders that direct exploitation of "Coronavirus" and direct profiteering of protective equipment and massive inflating of prices, will face prosecution.

We certainly won't but no doubt some will pay over the odds.

Its all fine for them to say that but its much harder to police especially online as have they got the online manpower to deal with it.

Quote from The Sun: A former government official has sparked outrage today after claiming a coronavirus pandemic would be "useful" in killing off NHS bed blockers.

Professor June Andrews shockingly said the deadly bug would help take elderly people "out of the system".

Her controversial comments come after a British woman yesterday became the first patient to die in the UK after testing positive for the bug.

Fears are now growing that a British man has become the second person to die in the UK from the deadly bug.

The patient, aged in his 80s, is said to have died from the disease while being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital in Buckinghamshire.

Prof Andrews admitted what she said was "horrific" as she outlined the potential outcome of a widespread outbreak.
True but not really something that needed spelling out.

I would imagine the trolls are already mashing their keyboards.

It seems there has been a second death.

The unnamed man (in his 80s) is thought to have succumbed to the illness at Milton Keynes University Hospital last night.

He had tested positive for the killer virus once already but the NHS must carry out further tests to confirm the case and rule out a false positive, MailOnline understands.

Fellow patients and hospital staff on his ward have been isolated this morning and a deep clean has been carried out.

This is sad but many elderly die every day in the winter from flu.

Went down the supernarket earlier, noticed there wasn't any soap of any kind to be had. Shelves completely empty. Hope someone isn't buying it all up to flog on at a profit...
Also seems to be a rush on toilet roll for some strange reason. Come armageddon it's nice to have but wouldn't be no 1 on my list.
