Price Increase
 

Hello everyone

I have received a mail from VM saying "bill will go up by £4.00 a month from 1st March".

I have a contract with them which expires 6th April.

I am told by their call centre that this price rise applies to everyone. However, I have not seen anything about this on their website or in the media. So, is that correct that the everyone's bill is going up ????

Also as I say, I am under contract; so is it legal for them to do this?

Oooops, just realised there is similar thread under - Virgin Media TV Service.

Nevertheless, I think my questions are still valid: does this apply to everyone, is it legal.

I think unless you're in a pre-agreed "no price rise" contract which some people claim to get then yes it applies to everyone. You can however ring them up and threaten to leave / request a reduction as they have altered the terms of the contract. I think you have about 30 days to contact them from the time of notification.
