Its been far more detrimental to Vettel than Hamilton. Hamilton can have his day where he really pushes but I'd like to see him in a Red Bull pushing it to it's limit.

The thing is when someone like Vettel and Hamilton dominates its up to the other drivers to push themselves to catch up as talent alone will not get you to the top as a driver need a strong mental approach allied with tactical nous and good driving skills.

Verstappen up to now has made quite a few tactical errors during his thus so far driving carrer and needs to cut them out if he is ever going to go all the way plus he needs to cut out his inmaturity at times.

Vettel has won 4 titles for a reason and Hamilton is moving closer to his sixth because currently he is a best all round driver then the other drivers thus it does help if one has a decent team behind you which he has.

Reverse the grids. Force them to overtake. I think the FIA and Liberty need to really consider this rather than leave it as rumour. Make them race.

Hamilton and Vettel can whinge about it all they want. It's a spectator sport. We've got the new owners to change it up. We've had far too long a period of the same teams receiving massive amounts of money and thus staying right at the top of the development chain, the money needs to be shifted about more. There's no Arab billionaires coming in to fund a new team here and the new teams that do come in go bust in a few years because they're achieving nothing.

l used to love the overtaking in the old days when you have the likes of Senna , Prost , Mansell , Lauda , Hill , Piquet , Schumacher , etc , etc who drove their cars to the edge to get one over each other.

All teams had investment then though. Tobacco sponsorship was massive. We need to change something to allow the teams outside the top 6 to develop better cars. If that means a few seasons of reversed grids so back markers and midfielders score points and pick up podiums then we should go for it. Then you can revert back to the original format and hopefully the shift in finances will have allowed teams to catch up slightly or be on par.

But what will actually happen is Ferrari will threaten to quit. Mercedes will threaten to quit.

All reasonable ideas but that is always the problem as good ideas often get rejected and stupid rules tend to get made in their place.

Fuelling needs to come back, make it so teams dont know what strategies each other are using. Apart from that we are moving in the right direction with some cracking races we've just had. The first track that needs to go is Monaco but that will never happen.
