A good call IMO. Alex seems to have more potential going forward.

Sad news in the world of Motor Sport.

F2 driver Antoine Hubert has been killed in a crash at Spa 2019 today.

Its such a dangerous sport l am afraid as l follow horse racing and two riders in Australia have been killed these last few days as the risks involved in some of these sports always makes this type of terrible scenario likely to happen from time to time..

A very sad week for motor sport. Jessi Combs also died trying to set a new land speed record. RIP both.

Don't really want to say it because it's bad enough as it is but that could have been a lot worse if it happened further up the field of drivers. The last few drivers did well to slow down and avoid it.

Yet another terrible crash, this time Formula 3 at Monza 2019, reports say the driver Alex Peroni walked away from this and i am not sure how as it looks like it could have easily been another fatality a week after Antoine Hubert died, and not to be forgotten Formula 2 driver Juan Manuel Correa is still critical in an induced coma.

Apparently Alex Peroni has a broken vertebra.

That would have been a fatal a few years back

Cracking advert as to why tracks and especially street circuits with poor run offs should be removed from the calendar. What a dismal race. 3 safety cars in less than 5 laps of racing.

Vettel essentially being handed a win before he throws his toys out. Shame really because Leclerc right now looks better in every single way.

And to add to that a complete tactical balls up by Mercedes to boot...

Wouldn't have made a difference. Either Ferrari or Mercedes at the front would've led to the same dull outcome with a different winner. The only exciting team from the top 3 are Red Bull with Leclerc from Ferrari having his moments. But we're stuck with overtaking via pit stops or safety cars killing the race dead.

The only racing today was right in the middle of the pack. As above, Vettel getting the gap over Leclerc really put the cherry on the cake for this absolute pile of crap. People like Leclerc and Verstappen are the only ones at the front creating any sort of excitement. Hamilton has his moments but Bottas just falls apart as the season drags on and Vettel crumbles under the slightest bit of pressure until you literally hand him a win.

l have never been a lover of these type of circuits as l personally like tracks that test a drivers skill throughout the race.

Leclerc and Veratappen are hungry for it. They're where the future lies. Vettel and Hamilton are so used to winning they literally coast along nowadays playing with team strategies. Its been far more detrimental to Vettel than Hamilton. Hamilton can have his day where he really pushes but I'd like to see him in a Red Bull pushing it to it's limit.

The problem for Leclerc and Veratappen is you eventually become the Hamilton and Vettel. Look at Lewis at McClaren and the early days of Merc dominance.
