To be announced epg

It seems to becoming more often that there is a problem with the epg.

Channel 5 sd and hd is showing to be announced for all programmes on wednesday 12th june. It has the shows listed for the day after and before though.

This is the same on both v6 boxes and it seems to be happening a lot lately the last occasion it was E4 if i remember correctly.

Any ideas or anyone else having the same issue?

It is happening quite a lot in the past few weeks on several channels noticeably on SSR a couple of weeks ago.

The Channel 5 listing supplier has had issues this week for odd days next week - but all were sorted this afternoon.

Should be good on TiVo tonight.

Could try a callback after 10pm - but it will do it automatically overnight anyway.

I'm guessing these are ongoing issues - there's a few slots next week where generic guide data is still present.

I'm not seeing any TBAs on Ch5 until Sat 22nd June - which is the norm.

Oh no - program names listed but no first-aired-date and the description is generic. An example being Police Interceptors on Monday night.

The epg has inbetweeners on E4 one episode from 11 to 1230pm whereas the Big bang theory is on, I dont know if its my imagination but the epg is getting more and more unreliable of late with tba and inaccurate programmes.

Hopefully they will sort it out soon

I agree. It appears that there weren't any episode details for todays A place In The Sun on C4, so it recorded it three times (I made a thread about it).

Without proper metadata on the EPG, many features of the TiVo become useless.

I've noticed more and more EPG inaccuracies of late. For example, I had to set a manual recording for Bake Off: The Professionals yesterday as the EPG showed Channel 4 News on for two hours, so our series link didn't pick it up.

For what it's worth, the backwards EPG here shows C4 News as 1hour, and Bake Off Professionals an hour long after that. Maybe it was wrong earlier in the day, and the update cycle was a lottery...

And we have Posh Porn on Channel 4 from 13:05 to 18:30 on 19/6/19. *sigh*

Re: To be announced epg

The main ITV channels haven't been populated beyond the end of this week, but ITV2, 3 & 4 have been. There was a "miniguide has errors" fault on service status for several days last week, so I dare say VM has it in-hand.

Yes. I'd not noticed E4, but the terrestrial channels tend to populate week+2 during Friday/Saturday. C5 & C5+1 haven't managed yet and only go upto 6am Saturday - all the C5 spinoffs (5-Spike etc) are fine.

Looks like a few issues with the CatchUp flag on some C4 stuff too. I dare say it's in-hand.

The sports channels which should have 14 day population are only up to early Saturday 24th rather than Monday 26th.

The late population of the 2nd weekend seems to have become more prevalent recently - presumably a similar problem?
