Found the manual and it is not a QR or a bar code but it is some sort of code lol

I think it's called a data matrix but looks very similar to a QR Code.

Looks like MATV amplifier to me, I don't recognise it as anything VM use.....but there are some weird and wonderful legacy bits and bobs out there. VM have been known to hijack existing MATV installations here and there.
