Wireless speedtest data used?

Just wondering how much data is used in a wireless data speedtest? Recently my PAYG phone has started to show 4G+ and curious to see how fast it is.

It won't be much, just go to your phone data settings make a note of the data used so far and then compare the difference.

edit

I just did the speedtest.net app on mine and it used 27MB.

There seems to be dozens of testers now, the most famous is Ookla, which other ones use less data? I only get 150Mb on top up, so it's every month/six weeks or so. Thanks for the test results. On VM BB it's always the same speed but it's fast enough for me.

Only 150Mb! i couldn't survive on that and i only get 1Gb myself which is sufficient for browsing and live traffic for satnav.

I don't know how often you topup your pay as you go but you may benefit from looking into a sim only plan for as little as £4-£5 a month.

150MB is the free data when topping up on Three. Nearly everything on the phone is through wi-fi these days. 4G+ is supposed to give better downloads but I'm yet to find out in practice. Someone suggested nperf, any dealings with them?

4G+ is faster than 4G that's all I know but if you only have 150MB data allowance it is not worth thinking about.
