V6 issue this morning.

Anyone else having problems with their V6 this morning?

It was playing up last night, but a reboot fixed most things apart from error code C501 coming up when I tried to search for other showings in Planned Recordings and some other screens too.

Just tried to do a 'Connect to Virgin Media' which failed, yet my internet is working.

I also tried to clear it's cache using the method from the old TiVo, does this not work with the V6?

VM were closed last night and still are :(

Thanks.

Sounds like the servers were down. It could be planned maintenance at that time of day.

What do you mean by "I also tried to clear it's cache"?

TiVo is suffering from network issues this morning.

Error messages have now stopped - but CU/OD menus not available and images don't appear to be loaded.

National issue for TiVo / V6 now shown on the Service Status. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

I had the same problem this morning also the v6 appeared to be incredibly slow.

A re-boot resolved my issues

I have a problem with my V6, it records a load of crap.

However having checked the TV guides, it appears that's all that's on....

You do realise that there are more channels available other than Talking Pictures, don't you, Mr K? :D

Bad news for you OB, another TP type channel called Retro Movies has started on satellite, maybe VM might add this to their line up too!

A channel I will certainly seek to avoid, Richard. But if it pleases Mr K.....

Getting the wheel of death every time I try to view a recording this morning - this happened during the previous problems

yesterday I was getting SEVERE pixilation when using catch-up. Rebooting the box sorted it but surely this is a weakness in the V6 box. I have had to reboot a few times in the past though pixilation was worse yesterday.
