Old Nokia 6603 died and lost contacts
Guys My wife is old school and liked her old Nokia 6603 but it died yesterday, virtually stone dead, just can get the keyboard to light up, a few weeks ago i bought a new battery for the phone as it was playing up a bit but now nothing.
She has today bought a Nokia 130 from Argos but her contacts were not on the sim, so she is fretting that she has no contacts. Is there anything which can be done to retrieve the contacts? Next time I will tell her to save the contacts to the sim. TIA |

I very much doubt it if the had set is dead. :( I keep my contacts on the SIM plus I backup the contacts on the SIM to a file on the computer. |

I think the panic is over, I removed the sim and then charged the phone up and it worked, so I had a fully charged phone, then Happy Days, I put the sim back in, then the battery and now it works.
I am no Tech expert but I am guessing that the sim or battery wasn't positioned exactly where it should have been causing the phone to be pretend dead. :) |

Make sure you back-up the contacts now, before it dies for real.
