Season 4 of Mr. Robot will be its last season.

Series creator Sam Esmail announced that the fourth season will be its last.
The final season has however been extended from 8 episodes to 12 episodes.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

It appears that Designated Survivor may itself have survived.

According to "Production Weekly", a hollywood based journal that lists shows and films currently in production (or due to start) a Season 3 of the show is set to begin filming in Toronto, under the working title of "The White House Project". Since ABC cancelled the show back in May, its unlikely they have secretly revived it, the most likely candidate seems to be Netflix.

I used to like Homeland but last series was a bit tedious at times so it's probably right that they end it now.

Fantastic, it was only last night that i was having a conversation with a group of friends and i was saying how i could gladly ditch all the current series i watch and go back and watch bsg, buffy, star trek(s), sg1 and atlantis.

A new stargate series is going to be great, i hope the original team and producers come back and they let amanda tapping direct.

I'm guessing there'll be a formal announcement over the weekend at Stargate: The Invasion event in Vancoover.

But has it really though?

That is just a tweet from a fan page. With a poll as to who you would play if there was a new series.

I'll wait to see if there is anything official over the nest couple of days.

I was thinking the same when I read it - it strikes me as just someone saying who would you want to play IF a new series ever happened. :erm:

I cannot believe they would announce an actual new series like that.

The timing is right if there is a massive Stargate convention this weekend, just like when they announced the new Captain Picard Star Trek series.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

Picard had been rumoured for months, where as that is just a fan page on twitter. It doesn't really have any gravitas to being true.

OK I jumped the gun on this. However Marvel are talking to Brad Wright which he confirmed at GateCon in Vancoover this weekend.
