The Last Ship has been renewed for a 5th season in addition to the pending 4th. I wish they would do this with all good series so we didn't have to stress over them. They obsess over the ratings and stuff but if you guaranteed a series a minimum of X seasons then the writers could sit down and hash out some good quality stuff and a story arc and take you on a journey with the characters. I am making my way through TNG atm and I really do miss 26 episode tv seasons.

Nice, Shame the forth season is only 10 eps, not 13 - the 5th season will be the same.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

it is. The good news for us (like GoT) is that if they know they have got 2 season and 20 eps left, they can sit and really think about what they want to do with the story and make sure every episode counts. Most series (e.g. Dark Matter) are good but are a bit up and down. You always have what I call padding episodes mid-season where you can see they are trying to cut down on the special effects budget. The thing which I love about TLS is that every episode is excellent and moves the story forward.

After successfully reviving the series for a sixth season some thirteen years after it initially concluded its run, ITV has renewed Cold Feet for a seventh season, TVWise has learned.

Eight episodes have been ordered for season seven, matching the size of the order for the sixth season revival. Original series creator Mike Bullen will once again be returning to pen the scripts for the new season, which is set to enter production in Manchester next March.

I am really confused. I thought the acting and story was kack and I struggled to keep watching through the first episode.

People obviously like it, I dont have a problem with it, quite like it so far.

Each to their own, after two episodes Im still wondering why people are raving about Westworld, so far (to me) its been pretty .. meh ...

Hmm... Well Ep03 was indeed "pretty .. meh ..." I hope it is not going to just settle on being an interminable open ended kind of Western ......
