Creating an account??
 

I am a NEW VM Mobile customer having never had a VM Mobile account before.

On the VM website i have tried to register as a new user but after step 1 where i put my VM Mobile number in the box then go to step 2 it asks me a a security question being my mothers maiden name.

The thing is as i am a new customer how does VM know my mothers maiden name in the first place?? I entered it but it is incorrect.

Possibly a fault on the registration system.

And how will they know the answer until you tell them. Is it asking you for the first time, so they know it if it is needed as extra security. Usually you just need your password to sign in.

Sounds like your number is already associated with some account details. I suggest calling them.
