Football legend Diego Maradona has died at the age of 60.

There can be no doubt that he was one of the greatest footballers to grace the beautiful game.:(

He was definitely one of the greatest cheats.

Sad he has gone, but no one will forget the way he cheated us in 'that' match.

And kids remember if you take copious amounts of cocaine for prolonged periods in your life you will without a doubt have an early death. The heart just can't cope and the best surgeons/$$ can't repair the damage it causes.

As someone said to me this morning, heading the ball causes dementia, handing it causes a heart attack.

IIHO he will be remembered as a cheat.

There are loads of people out there who have done great things, one one slip and that is always remembered.

Take Jonny Depp, all his exs backed him up that he never raised a fist or voice to them, but AH is believe 100%, there where reports that her "Bruises were make up effects"

One of the all time great players. Sad for football. Don't forget he scored one of the best ever goals in the same game as the handball.

Sorry this on the news is a sports story about a junkie cheat, and NOT prime news.

When they had the silence before the Spurs game last night, I thought sod this and made a cuppa rather than watch that.

Teenager claiming to be Diego Maradona's son demands exhumation of body

A teenager who has spent years fighting to prove he is Diego Maradona’s son has demanded the exhumation of the football legend's body.

Santiago Lara instructed his lawyer to make the sensational move less than 24 hours after the former Naples and Barcelona star was buried following his death on Wednesday.

He has set a great example of drink and drug taking to young footballers.

Undoubtedly the greatest footballer of his generation. The “cheat” label is laced with hypocrisy. Footballers cheat all the time, week in week out. He is no different to any other In that respect. It just happened to be against us on that one occasion.

No he isn't, he is a great example of how little regard was given to player welfare both on and off the pitch, I never knew until the other day that his body guards were all mafia henchmen, when you look back on his move to Naples he was literally being delivered into the hands of criminals and who can be surprised how it turned out? It wouldn't happen today, clubs and agents are so much more protective of the assests that generate the money and protect them on the pitch to which was also lacking in his day to such an extent he was all but a cripple

Exactly, no one else in the world cares he handled the ball in but us and in typical English fashion we are still banging on about it 35 years later, I wonder if Ghana will be bleating so badly on the day luis Suarez dies?
