Multi Room For Garden Office Advice Request

Please can someone help.

I am hoping to have a multi room TV service installed iin my garden office and have an engineers visit planned next Monday.

I have asked numerous Virgin Media customer service reps if an installation of this type is possible and have conflicting answers. Some say yes, some say no.

Even the 'executive team' tell me it should be possible.

The garden office is about 100ft from the house and is fully powered, iinsulated and Wifi / Ethernet ready.

Can anyone here advise on the likelyhood of the installation going ahead? I am happy to bury the cable myself, really just need the engineer to connect both ends and sort the signal.

Also is it better for me to purchase armoured cable and will the engineer be happy to use my cable?

Please can someone suggest the best type of cable to use for this type of install, it will run along a flower bed .

Apologies for so many questions within 1 post but I am trying to arrange everything 'above board' rather than lie and do most of the install myself.

Thanks for any advice

It's unlikely to be a problem to install, but they won't use a cable you have provided as the quality can't be guaranteed.

If you really want to help the installer, run a conduit before they get there, with a string to allow the cable to be pulled through.

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Might struggle for decent signal over that distance, depending how long the drop cable is...

I dont do Garden offices unless the customer has dug the trench for me, 50mins for multiroom just doesnt cover this type of install
