Has anyone seen any of this yet?

I'm about half way through the first season and in all honesty I thought it was going to be crap from the trailer

But it's pretty good and I like where they have actually started it off. be interesting to see where they take this later on

It was a fantastic season and a great way to bring The Karate Kid back. I loved everything about it. Had such a great 80s feel to it as well.

It's new. Launched on YouTube red a few weeks ago. Given a second season too, it's that good.

It wasn't high on my list of things to watch but after being nagged to death about it by a friend I decided to start watching it yesterday and tbh I couldn't get through it fast enough. I would gladly have seen double the episode length and double the episodes. I thought it was fantastic how they managed to get the original actors backs, I loved the story arc and I loved the nostalgia, flashbacks and old locations. I killed myself laughing in the last episodes in the changing room when I thought Danny was going to do the magic hand healy thing and he didn't.

The fantastic news is that it has renewed for a second season so I can't wait to see what happens. I am hoping Sam gets back into Karate and we see Danny do some more karate and training with her and the season might end with her entering a tournament and kicking Miguel's ass.

I think this series has got to be my pleasant surprise for this year.

defo Pip. I had never heard of it until I saw this thread and I put it only my list of backup series to watch during summer if I run out of stuff to watch but a friend has been nagging me for the last week and a half to watch it so on Friday night I told him I would give it a go Saturday morning and once I started I couldn't stop.
