Down sizing
 
Has anyone downsized from home phone and broadband and Tivo Box to broadband and Tivo box? If so how did it go?

That wouldn’t be a downsize - more like a much the same price change.

Using land line to my mum's mobile in hospital is very expensive.

Now we use mobiles.

That could be even more relevant now with some providers. My provider, Tesco Mobile, has made calls made between 8pm - 8am free weekdays and all over the weekend until 1 June. I'm guessing that they will continue this beyond 1 June - you never know though

If your mum has data just use Viber or similar for free phone calls.
