Samsung Galaxy A12 64Gb mobile phone (un-locked) to replace my faithful old Tocco lite whose display is starting to fail.

My PAYG provider can upgrade to a sim only contract for around £6 a month: All you can eat texts and calls plus 10Gb of data. I don't need masses of data as I use the broadband for that.

Why you may ask? Becuase I'm a mad aviation fan and really love planes, especially the 747!

Mine barely lasted a year before the touchscreen started to fail.
I bet that Samsung Galaxy blows it away now.

Wow, Yes it was me, going back several years now! Well remebered!


It took quite some time to get it to fly propery but it did fly.

Eventually I had a hard landing and it broke off the engines and since then its been in the loft. We ended up having kids and its now a project for another day.
But definately will have to get back to it some day.
I'l have to dig out a video.

Yes, I really got my moneys worth, bought over 12 years ago though most of the time it's in standby.

The A12's display is stunning. At the moment I'm using it through the WiFi as I need to get a nano SIM with my provider as the Tocco Lite uses a standard size SIM.

I downloaded the user manual, only 107 pages long.

I'm free all that week, and to save you being bored out of your skull I'm willing to take your place. I don't normally do this sort of thing, but the thought of you struggling to enjoy yourself at this event has convinced me that it's my duty to do so.

I agree with Carth and admire his philanthropic attitude, and being a good samaritan myself I could also relieve you of this great burden and won't have so far to travel which would be great for global warming. :angel:

I worked for a company that owned BAe-146s, and our building had a guy that overhauled the engines, he was going to give me some fan blades the next time an engine came in after a bird strike, but we all got made redundant and it never happened.
