Fed up with Amazon prime phone calls

Getting a bit fed up with amazon prime scam phone calls, 12 so far over two days
Wish there was a way to block the numbers within Virgin media

Be more protective of your phone number, very few people actually need it. Those that insist get 01234 567890 from.me, good luck with that.

Hardly anyone knows my number (even I don't) . . I only answer unknown numbers if I'm bored and feel like playing the fool ;)

It’s a hobby of mine. I enjoy it.

I save the numbers on my phone as Telepest01, Telepest02 etc. Then when they call I just ignore them

I used to get scam calls all the time (not so since I moved and VM insisted I had new number),
as a rule of thumb I found they always rung off after a maximum of 8 rings so I never answer my phone before this amount of rings.
The few people who use my landline know this and wait for me to answer.

I take the view that if it's important, they will leave a message. If my wife didn't keep answering the blessed thing, they might conclude that the phone was no longer active!

Do you not have the free caller ID or does the missus just answer random numbers?

Buy a BT True Call phone. Anyone who calls your landline has to announce who they are. Auto diallers can not do this so your phone does not ring
