Subtitles

ITV subtitles
When I watch ITV on 113 the subtitles are very bad. Sometimes they are missing, often the last titles come up before the first. I have found that viewing ITV on 853 the subtitles work perfect.
Why is this?

Are you watching live or recordings? There is currently a fault where subtitles are unreliable on recordings for some channels.

If you are watching live, which region are you in?

I've noticed Channel 4 (and spin-offs) are particularly bad for this sometimes.

Now you mention it, recorded. Very rarely watch C4 live.

You may find that not all C4 variants are affected. It's a bit unpredictable. For example, FOX SD does it, but FOX HD doesn't.

i am watching ITV in the Granada region. I watch it live not on catch up. ITV do not put out subtitles on catch up.

I am watching in the Granada region. I watch it live not on my recordings.

I've checked the Granada version but the subtitles seem good to me. Is it only certain programmes that are affected?
