Partitioning 3 TB SATA hard drive

Partitioning 3 TB SATA hard drive.

This drive dose not hold Windows any applications.

I have a 3 TB SATA DATA only hard drive which set to a single partition of 3 TB, I now want to repartition it to two partitions of 1.5 TB, it would be nice if it retained my data but that is not important as that is backed up.

What is the best way to do it?

I am using Malwarebytes and the warning is Potentially Unwanted Software.

There are other free partition managers out there.

Which gives you the option to decide if you want it or not.

EaseUS Partition Manager is free and easy if you do not trust Windows to do it itself.

EaseUS Partition master, free trial

EaseUS also market Partition Magic (formerly from Symantec\powerquest) also with a free trial period.

This one I've used and it can resize, create and merge partitions without data loss.
