it looks like a modern day Naked Gun type film. I saw a teaser last week on youtube and wondered what was going on :D

I think it’s more he’s a NPC in a gaming world who gets autonomy.

I think - that was the impression I got from when he put on the glasses and could see the Health box and other things he couldn’t normally see (as if it were a game overlay), & the "bullet time" bit...
