Power levels question
 

I'm fairly new to these boards and have seen people posting up their power levels from 192.168.100.1 and was wondering if anyone could tell me what these actually do to your connection and whether I should contact VM regarding mine. Any help would be appreciated

The signal has to be in between thresholds to work correctly. Your downstream is well out of the threshold and you should phone VM for a technician to come out. However, if you're not having issues with your service, I wouldn't bother.

well my download speeds aint quite been what they should be lately, suppose i should get it sorted, just to make sure im getting the most from it for my money. (You can tell im a yorkshireman!)

The downstream power level is suspect - ideally this should be 0 although +5 to -5 is usually allowed. Do you find that the SYNC light (im assuming you have an NTL or Virgin branded modem here) goes out at all? If so, you need an engineer to come look at it.
