Steve i'm in kidsgrove and to drunk to drive but we went for a walk this evening and the roads are very slippy with 6cm of snow on them :D

Well, took me about 6 1/2 hours to get to Reading on Sunday :rolleyes: Crash after crash on the M6, at one point I was stuck for 3/4 hour without moving :erm: Glad to see it's all melted now but took me nearly as long to get home tonight....

We had about 5 or 6 inches of snow last night, where I live in Carnmoney (about 6 miles north of Belfast). Though it does seem to be turning very slushy.

Come to Rochdale, it aint stopped since 4am this morning, and still coming down, its weird though, as its snow with ice, and the pathway I live on is off the road, and the snow is nearly knee deep.:dozey:

My temperature thing stuck outside is saying -2degrees C.

I live in Carnmoney as well! It took me 20 minutes to get down to Sandyknowles and nearly 50 minutes to get from Sandyknowles to Belfast along the M2. Then another hour to get from Belfast to Bangor.

The snow plough finally paid us a visit half an hour ago ... not that we needed it by then, the snow has cleared very quickly. The torrential downpour we had around 1 o'clock might have had something to do with it. Glad I'm inside!

There was some snow in Driffield (East Riding of Yorkshire) today from what I heard on the radio. When I was out delivering my papers this morning there was a few flakes but that was it. It has certinally got colder and we might get some tomorrow I hope.

Yeah - I noticed it was cold and when I left for work there was snow on the cars. I was about 10 mins from work when the wind picked up and flakes starting falling. Nearly broke my neck on the icy pavements :(

First chance I've had to post, the snow hit us about 3 yesterday morning as we were coming down the M1 lasted for about 2 1/2 hours getting heavy at times, still never mind, its gone now.

Well this is what it looked like on Saturday afternoon somewhere on the way out of Coire an Snechda near Aviemore in Scotland. We went for a weekend's course on ski touring and couldn't have had a greater variety of conditions to try out.

beautiful Here too, Incog - bright & sunny & really clear, I can easily see the wind farm on the opposite bank of the Humber estuary & the lighthouse on Spurn Point - but the wind is bitterly cold. I'd rather it was like this than grey & miserable, though :)
