An interesting organisational change on Sky EPG. Worth VM copying?

Sky are reorganising the International section of their EPG by language.

I'm not familiar with the International section on VM, maybe it has a logical order to it. If it doesn't, maybe this idea might be worth them copying.

The Virgin Media international section is a bit of a mess, most of the channels are grouped by region but a few are out of place, could do with a bit of organisation to be honest.

Also the Entertainment, Factual & Lifestyle sections are a bit of a mess.

A bit, but at least there is some sense to it, I was looking at Sky's ordering in the 100s earlier today and it is all over the place because they have merged the likes of documentaries into general entertainment with a scattergun approach. It would drive me round the bend if I had to use that regularly.

There isn't many foreign channels, just mostly Indian ones, so I doubt VM will make any changes here. Good idea of Sky's, though.

Do you mean like this?

International:
Hindi language:

801. Star Gold HD
802. Star Bharat
803. Star Plus HD
806. SONY TV HD
807. SONY MAX HD
808. SONY SAB
811. Zee TV
812. Zee Cinema HD
815. B4U Movies
816. B4U Music
819. COLORS
820. Colors Rishtey
821. Colors Cineplex
822. MTV Beats
825. NDTV Good Times
826. NDTV India
827. NDTV Spice

Urdu language:
831. HUM EUROPE
832. Islam Channel Urdu

Punjabi language:
836. Brit Asia TV

Bengali language:
Channels 841 to 845

Arabic language:
846. Al Jazeera Arabic

Other languages:
851. France 24 (French) HD
852. Islam Channel English

Regions and Audio Description:
861. BBC ONE London AD (Audio description)

---------- Post added at 21:08 ---------- Previous post was at 20:51 ----------

As you can see it can be done but Virgin Media would need to move all the Regions and Audio Description channels down by 10 channels numbers to make room to fix your idea in.
