Carlos Sainz has signed a multi year deal to replace Alonso at Mclaren from 2019.

Force India is renamed, Racing Point Force India for the remaining 2018 season, it has also lost all prize money from the old name, due to atleast 1 team objecting.

Well Leclerc is thankful that Halo is in F1 after Hulkenburg crashed into the back of Alonso, causing Alonso to be catapulted over Leclerc's car.
The Halo has a rubber transfer on it. Had it not been there, Leclerc my not have been so lucky. |

It appears a DRS failure, when the rear-wing flap failed to close as usual under braking, pitched Ericsson into his frightening accident when the Sauber smashed into the barriers and then barrel rolled down the side of the track.
Ericsson was able to walk away from the shunt and doctors in the medical centre gave the Swede the all-clear. http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/124...ad-of-mercedes |

It's a good job nobody else was caught in the crash. And also an amazing advert for the safety features cars come with nowadays, could have been some serious injuries to Ericsson.
