Alleged comments from Jose about Wenger are embarrassing. Of course they were followed up by class from Arsene but I don't think Wengers one to be messed with although he is more than capable of doing himself harm than anyone else.

;) I don't think we're that evil....yet. It's the same problems as last year, and certain players that should have gone are still there. I'm desperate for Zouma to come back more than anything at the moment, cos I think (and hope) that he'll improve us at the back. But I have to be honest and say that I can't help but be impressed by Liverpool and the gooners v us, and the way they're playing. Both totally bossed us. Early days though, and at least the real MUFC, Maidenhead United, are giving me some pleasure this season

Sam Allardyce likely to be sacked in the morning. FA has summoned him for an inquest with regards to:

A Juicy story. Be fair though, people like Allardyce have gone a bit too long to not be called out on it again. No one else will do it.

Better yet. I really think the FA should consider having a season long interim manager and approaching Arsene Wenger for the permanent position. If Sam Allardyce is your best fit last time round then what's really available now? Steve Bruce, Pardew? Be serious, Pardew is probably the next guy outed for being dodgy. Can probably blame that on Newcastle undoubtedly. Famous for allowing Dennis Wise to throw his mates backhanders via Newcastle's finances. Notably signing two unknown lads for a total of 6 million with conveniently astronomical agent fees.

Because if they didn't then the MP's expenses fiddles would never have come to light for a start.

The Telegraph has been running this investigation for over 10 months since being informed of the numbers of managers and agents involved, Allardyce was merely caught up in the overall investigation.
I see nobody mentioned 'Harry' in the list of possible suspects. ;)

The Telegraph are justified in this expose IMO. It's in the public interest if the manager of the National Team is willing to engage in dodgy dealings.

That's probably why they're good. Because they get paid a flat fee for access to content they're not encouraged to produce click-bait content. They get customers by having good content over the course of a month rather than trying to product as many pages as possible, attracting as many viewers as possible for as cheap as possible. It costs far less to do a 'Top 5 reasons why Game of Thrones is like the Labour party' than do a long-form piece about corruption in the link between the public and private sectors which no one will read.

Also journalism costs money. Advertising is not magic. One of the biggest mistakes of recent years was newspapers giving away content for free in the hope they would get some of the internet money.

Now you have hyper-partisan alternative news sources from the left (Canary etc) and the right (Breitbait) that have no connection to any idea of journalistic standard or much concern for what's actually true and it's turning us all into conspiracy theorists.

Ravel Morrison posts cryptic tweet presumably about Allardyce.

Guess he finally gets some form of Justice. Shame Mark Curtis goes generally unpunished. Wonder if Sham sues the Telegraph like he sued the BBC all those years ago. Plead innocent, apparently lawyered up then bottled it. Guilty as they come.

Alan Pardew is another of the favorites but with The Telegraph ready to name another 8 Premier League managers I suspect the FA will be wary. Wenger is one of the few who I would imagine is going to be one of the least likely to be implicated.

He's always been poison though, it's just now that it's a big scoop, the justice seeked by many for years has been dished out. But I wouldn't like to see him back in management, Allardyce and Curtis should be allowed nowhere near the game. Disgraceful, the pair of them.

The managers yet to outed weren't stung though, this all comes from the gob of super match fixing Pino so unless he or anyone else can uncover or provide evidence other than his gob then it might just turn into nothing.

Wenger in charge of England. Are you having a laugh. I would go for Harry, or even Poch of Spurs. Look what he has done at Tottenham.

No the game is riddles in corruption. Look at Gobblelar, who took a back hander as a Keeper.

This is the full list of the alleged Premier League 8

Quote:

Ryan Giggs
Steve Bruce
Alan Pardew
Mark Hughes
Tony Pulis
Eric Black
David Moyes
Harry Redknapp
Eric Black is first up then: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...-to-bribe-low/

I still have doubts, a few of them we'd all name every time. Giggs though? What deals could Giggs have possibly been involved in. Also worth noting Pardew had no control over transfers at Newcastle.

Lastly, this all comes from word of mouth from a disgraced match fixing agent and I'm unaware if there's actually any real evidence that isn't just word vs word. I know fine well some of them will have done it, just questioning the accuracy of this leak and if it's correct then whether some of them have actually done anything.

Eric Black is on video being nabbed I know but the Tele article constantly referred to Pagliara with terms like Pagliara said etc. So I'm not actually sure if there's any more evidence video wise.

*Ones in bold are the ones we're most likely to accept as dodgy anyway. It's a given. Redknapp was a certainty. The rest I'm unsure and I've never known much about Black to give a fair judgement.

Side note: There were 3 championship names also on the list but I'm unsure if the Telegraph had already outed the three. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...world-football

If we get into the top 4 then that would be pretty nice IMO.

Being out of Europe altogether is a massive bonus.

Why don't MU throw it then?

Did you watch the games they have played in Europe already this season, if they are not 'throwing it' they are doing a very good impression of doing so. :(

No laws broken, no. But drip feeding snippets and denying clubs and the FA the ability to fully investigate the matter is at best very unhelpful.

I'm just disappointed that a previously quality publication is choosing to withhold information for perceived monetary gain. Having said that, the news industry is on its knees so their actions are understandably desperate.

I'd never believe he was anyway. Even better being when he was sacked Newcastle started getting involved in dodgy dealings under Souness. The transfer of Jean Alain Boumsong was said to be one of the dodgiest deals in English football.

If you cannot beat a side bottom of the league then for many MU fans that ain't good enough...

Just back home from OT. What a bloody silly time to play match. Not too despondent, plenty of effort but poor finishing and their keeper having a blinder made the difference.

I am sure referees are blind. Arsenal's goal should not have stood. It handled inti the net.

And the ref must have seen the handball.

Handball and offside.

Same old Arsenal, always cheating/ Probaly trainedby Maradona.

What l cannot understand - the referee was what - FIVE FEET from the Arsenal player and didn't ee it. Or even look at his linesman.

Maybe in the week of Bungs. Maybe the Telegraph should look at officials in the game.

Wasnt there an article recently from an ex ref who stated that referees have been censored for failure to spot things.

The PL and FA should look at this for blatant breach of the rules.

And before Arsenal fans start jumping up and down at say l am whinging. This was 'clearly handball'

Just think if it was a Spurs player doing that.

Yeah, imagine if Burnley handballed it twice in their own box! See you missed that bit out.

Was instant Karma. Arsenal deserved that goal.

It was HANDBALL. and he pushed the ball into the net - HANDBALL. Goal should NOT have stood

Yup. 1 was for sure a penalty even if the other wasn't.

He never pushed anything in. It deflected off his hand. Doesn't bother me if it stood though. I see it as redemption from the two clearly denied penalties for the same offence you're lamenting on about.

You're incapable of remaining unbiased as shown above by quickly labelling them cheaters etc. Arsenal are denied two clear penalties from handballs, they then score off a deflection via the hand. Seems like balance to me.
