It's all that packet loss, what are your power levels like?

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
A bit wobbly last evening and a dropout again this morning.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
This is what my brother's graph looks like on the 300mbps service.
He's hardly getting half that speed... https://www.cableforum.uk/images/local/2018/10/5.png VM have looked at it remotely and are asking for £25 if a tech visits and finds no fault. |
Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
The graph looks normal for a Hub3 that hasn't had the latest firmware to reduce all that yellow.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
I believe so, looking at your graph I can tell yours is probably newer than his, most people graphs looked like his before the update.
---------- Post added at 23:06 ---------- Previous post was at 22:36 ---------- Just to add, the firmware I mentioned fixes the graph but won't fix your brother's speed issues. What speed is he getting on ethernet and what is he paying for 200 or 350 as 300 doesn't exist? |

The red bits to the right of the graph I have never seen before. :dunce::dunce::dunce:

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Often means something going on in your upstream. Full stats would be useful.

That power stats for both upstream and downstream. Plus the log to which you referred. Please. Full info is everything.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Nothing wrong there. Quite the contrary. Perhaps it was different at the time of the red bars' are they still there?
|
Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Not the red bars, but I do get a lot of this in in the evenings...
https://www.cableforum.uk/images/local/2018/10/12.png NB the red block is when the modem is powered down for the night. |
Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Are you uploading or doing much stuff when it goes mad? As you have an old hub with just 8 DS channels, it could be those DS channels that are being well used in your locality. The BQM does sort of expose that.
