Can I pause my skysports package while there is no live football on ?
 
I have read that if I do pause it , it actually stays on , has anyone done this ? is this true ? please

also if I do pause it , how do I get it back on when I need it back on ?

1. Yes you can.

2. The pause is removed automatically once sports start up again.

So how do you actually implement this, online? Also, will you be credited from when the football stopped or from when you apply the pause?

Just to point out that the page on the website has now been updated so that you can pause Sky Sports, BT Sports or both, if you have them on your package.

The payments are not actually stopped. You get a monthly credit on your bill for the amount you pay (or the equivalent if it is inclusive of your package). The credits will be automatically stopped when the sport returns.

I did read that if I did pause the sports package I wouls still be able to watch the channels , is this true anyone ?

That is what it says on the online form, so I think it's safe to assume it's true.
