Rebel Moon 6/10, Ok, but not as good as I had hoped from the trailer.

Aquaman 2 (Lost Kingdom) 6/10, DC just dont seem to make superhero films as well as some others.
This was ok I guess, plenty of action in places, loads of SFX, but somehow it still just did not "wow" me.

Rebel Moon 4/10

It was like a first year film student who had seen Seven Samurai, Star Wars, Battle Beyond the Stars, and Dune had been given an unlimited SFX budget, but no money for script writers, and then they ignored any advice on how to improve the clunky dialogue.

Some good battle scenes.

We had a few hours to spare at the Premier Inn during our 9 day stay so watched Hondo, 8/10 and Midway 9/10.

Apparently they have cut it badly and there will be a directors cut with 30 minutes extra which is meant to improve the film

It did apparently start life as a Star Wars project but Disney rejected Synders script and he then reworked it to become this.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Tripe, and I can watch and sometimes very much enjoy tripe.

But this was just terrible, made the first Aquaman look like Citizen Kane.

Carry on Again Doctor (1969). 6/10. Maybe just me, but think it's just a tad sexist ;)

Over an hour too long.

Napoleon (2023) 5/10

Didn't know Napoleon had an American accent, interesting that.
'Carry on Don't Lose Your Head' was more historically accurate.

I last watched BIG (1988) on VHS :)

8/10

Godzilla x Kong, 7.5/10

Plenty of action, if you like the current Godzilla/Kong movies (and TV) then you'll like this.
