Got to try it for a few hours this afternoon and it didn't drop out once. Will have to see how it goes.

Just digging this thread out again

Wifi is struggling with around 55/4 on the 100mb pack

Ethernet is around 80/5

Does everything look ok below?

Setup a thinkbroadband monitor, this will show when your wired connection drops or whether you have a WiFi issue.

How do you do this, I've seen people posting but never found out how?

Did you get it working Homer? If your graph is all ready you need to enable 'respond to ping' or whatever it is called on your router.

When you've got the graph prepared you're offered several copy and paste options. Use the "BB code" one. It's quite long but does put the graph neatly in this thread.

The version is suitably obfuscated so as not to reveal personal information.

Seems ok to me but you should not get just 80/5 wired. It should be just over 100/5 I think. I am on the 350/20 package and I get 384 down and 20.9 up.

The other thing that may be a factor is contention on your cable. You can see this clearly on the BQM graph if you set this up.

It should look like this with no contention i.e. flat 24x7

https://www.cableforum.uk/images/local/2018/11/1.png

If you see peaks in the evening times then you may be being impacted by contention. Please post a link to the live graph if you can?

Re: Wifi Issues

It won't look like that unless on the latest firmware .608, which will mostly be yellow with a Hub3 on 24 down stream channels.

When you download something also expect yellow spikes.

Same principle should apply i.e. a raised "bell curve" shape for the (blue) average latency in the peak periods.

It's been a very busy few days so will try shortly

Strange why it's randomly rebooting then

The speed is fine topping out at 112mb on a wired connection

112 is slow if you expect 150 and you're meant to get more than what you pay for unless you have capacity issues in your area.
