Printer Suggestions

Guys (and Gals)...

Looking for suggestions for a colour laser printer, basically need a small office type multi function printer.

I need :
Auto duplex printing/scanning/copying
2 paper trays (for different colour paper)
Cheaper consumables than HP - I'm currently spending around £250 a quarter on HP toner.

We're printing somewhere around 1000 pages a month.

I've had a google, and have some thoughts, but I'm really looking for a real recommendation - budget is probably around £600, but would go higher if need be.

Thanks!

I rather love my Brother printer. It actually still works unlike the 4 previous Epsons..

Have a look at Samsung they used to be priced well. 2nd tray might be where you have an issue Lexmark (I know I know) would be my go to unless you use the main tray and bypass.

I'd say the same as Maggie J has pointed out; Brother branded coloured laser printers are the way to go, firstly lots of them about as they designed for business office environment, secondly the latter the replacement toner powders will have more sellers hence a cheaper running cost - the drum is going be pricey but you can cover that cost with the savings you made on the toner. :D ;)

They come all kinds of flavours, fax/duplex printing (two sided)/scanner/Wifi etc, pick your choice - yes they aren't cheap when buying them first off but will be cheaper in the long term with all laser printers. Much better than ink jet, even the professional ones that cost a small fortune for the ink alone.

I would echo this, I have a Samsung Colour 315W, thats a few years old now, but still going strong. They do great colour laser printers.

What I really like about my Brother printer is that the ink lasts for ages and that changing the ink is far less complicated.
